⚖️ Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using the FamilyVault mobile app (the "App"), operated by Wheel Traveler, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.

3. Use Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Redistribute or resell the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation

4. Your Content

4.1 Ownership

You retain full ownership of all documents, photos, and information you store in the App. We have no access to this content — it is stored entirely on your device.

4.2 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping backups of your data if you want it preserved beyond your device (see the Privacy Policy's Backup & Restore section).

5. No Account, No Data Recovery Guarantee

Because FamilyVault does not require an account and stores data locally, we have no ability to recover your data if your device is lost, damaged, reset, or if the app is uninstalled without a backup, or if you forget your App Lock PIN. Creating regular encrypted backups is your responsibility if you want to protect against data loss.

6. Intellectual Property

The App itself, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Wheel Traveler and protected by intellectual property laws. This does not extend to your own document images or data, which remain entirely yours.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that expiry reminders will always fire correctly, that OCR-assisted field extraction will always be accurate, or that the App will be free of bugs or interruptions. Always verify extracted document details yourself before relying on them.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wheel Traveler shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including data loss from a lost, damaged, or reset device, a forgotten PIN, or an uninstalled app without a backup.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Since no account exists, there is nothing further to terminate on our end.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
